Information

The Scottish Parliament is hosting a free Home Educators Day, offering a range of engaging learning sessions for home‑educated children and young people and their parents or guardians.

There are two sessions across the day. Both include a workshop and tour, which will include the Debating Chamber and a Committee room.

The 11.00am - 12.30pm session is aimed mainly at primary learners or those studying at CfE Level 2.
The 1.15 to 2.45pm session is aimed at secondary learners studying at CfE Level 3 / BGE Social Subjects.

There will be an online pre-visit information session on Friday 6 November. This will provide guidance on coming to the Scottish Parliament building, and what to expect on your visit. If you would like to attend, please tick that option when you book your tickets (only for those attending the online session).

Come and meet our Education team and learn more about your parliament!

If you can't make it to this one, we will be running another in early 2027. We will update our webpage with dates and booking information throughout the year.

Or if you can't make it along, you can use our resources to support learning about the Scottish Parliament.
